OUR MISSION

Inspired by God’s love for us in Christ, we seek to be defined by cross-shaped love--in worship to God, in fellowship within the church-family, and in outreach to our neighbors. (1 John 4:19)

OUR BELIEFS

The divinity of Jesus Christ

For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily.” (Colossians 2:9, ESV)

The death and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ

“that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, ESV)

The inspiration of Scripture

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16, ESV)

The sinfulness and hopelessness of the human race

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23, ESV)

Salvation by grace through faith

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:8-10, ESV)

Faith that manifests itself in daily living

"For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.” (James 2:26, ESV)

The return of Christ and the resurrection of the dead

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, ESV)

The final judgment

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” (2 Corinthians 5:10, ESV)
